If we are very fortunate in life we may come across a universal scripture applicable to people of all temperaments and for all times.
If we are so lucky, we should grab such an opportunity and apply the guidance to our lives making sure not to waste the insights or blessings we receive. Grab hold of that vision and turn it into action. Make sure it does not disappear or fade away, as most day dreams do.
A lack of knowledge, understanding and vision have seen the advent of many a nightmare. For example, one war after another accompanied by many acts of cruelty and untold suffering. It would not be an understatement to say that, much sadness and misery have befallen the souls on this planet.
If we could be inspired by and hold onto the words of wisdom present in all divine scriptures whether it be the Holy Bible, Bhagavad Gita, or Quaran, that tell us we are not material energy, that we are not these earthly bodies but are instead spirit in essence. If we were able to live in the light of this truth - the world would be a very different place. Respect for 'life' regardless of body, race or creed would be there. The vision to see that in the truest sense we are all brothers and sisters, would be there. Appreciation and gratitude for the planet 'mother earth' and all living beings great or small would be there. One can only imagine what a difference, living that vision would make.
It may seem impossible, and maybe impossible - on a world scale, but each individual can change and make a change. A good place to start is with ourselves. We can make a difference.
